What is an automatic bagging machine?

Common questions
Does an automatic sewing machine also place empty bags?
No. Bag closing and empty-bag placement are separate operations. Ask for the quoted automation scope at each station.
Is automatic filling the same as automatic bagging?
Not necessarily. A machine can control filling automatically while an operator still places each bag. Confirm bag placement and transfer separately.
Is a closing machine included?
Closing is an interface to specify. The quoted equipment list must identify the closing method and whether it is included.
What is needed to confirm bag compatibility and output?
Supply representative empty bags, material information, fill weight and required bags per hour. Review bag handling and the complete filling-to-closing cycle for that combination before agreeing a performance requirement.
