What is a bulk bag filling system?
A bulk bag filling system loads material into a flexible intermediate bulk container (FIBC), also called a jumbo bag or ton bag. The pictured station has a support frame, bag-loop hooks, filling connection and discharge conveyor. Feeding, weighing and bag removal are configured around the material and the selected bag.

How it works
- 01
Attach and support
Position the empty bag, secure its lifting loops and connect its inlet to the filling head. The proposed configuration defines operator tasks and bag support.

Fill to the agreed weight
The selected feed and weighing arrangement controls material delivery. Dust connection and bag settling requirements are reviewed with the material.

Release and discharge
After filling, disconnect the bag and release its supports. Use the agreed conveyor or handling arrangement to remove the filled bag.
Define the configuration.
Agree the equipment scope around the actual material, bag and production route.
Feeding and dust handling
Review flow behavior, bulk density and the plant dust-extraction connection. Any settling or compaction equipment must be listed in the scope.
Conveyor and removal
Define how the bag is supported during filling, whether a pallet is used and how the filled load leaves the station.
Specify your equipment.
Use the material, bag and required output to define a configuration. The equipment quotation records the agreed operating conditions and machine details.
The term “ton bag” does not establish a rated load or filling range. These must be confirmed for the actual bag and machine configuration.

Common questions
Can powders and granules use the same bulk bag filler?
The frame alone does not determine suitability. Specify the material and review the feeding arrangement, filling connection and dust-handling requirements together.
Does ton bag mean a fixed filling weight?
No. Confirm the target weight, bag rating and machine configuration together. The product-family name does not specify a load rating.
Is the empty bag attached automatically?
The level of automation is configuration-specific. Confirm loop attachment, inlet connection, release and removal individually.
